Who Are We
We are based in Oshawa, serving children ages 7 to 13 from the Oshawa and Whitby area. Our badminton non-profit has been creating an accessible and welcoming space for young players since 2024. Co-founded by high school students Elaine and Michael, our weekly Friday classes are led by the co-founders alongside a dedicated team of volunteers. Our goal is simple: to make badminton accessible to children and help them develop a lasting passion for the sport.

"Junior Birdies has been a wonderful experience for my child. We started coming to Junior Birdies since the very start in 2024. The leaders Michael and Elaine are supportive and patient with the kids. My child enjoys coming to play badminton and has become more confident coming here on Fridays."

"Awesome place! Really love the small community and the effort given from the volunteers and staff. Would highly recommend for parents if you want your children to have a fun time playing badminton. My son Aaron says this class is the most fun out of all his extra curriculars. The class is also very cheap!"
